That used to happen in the 2004-2006 era, I don't recall seeing it with the Atrium backdrop. Basically, Nina was stood at the newswall, she started to walk around the 'catwalk' and the newswall spun around, as if the graphic about the earthquake was were the camera's/jib are. I presume it was pre recorded in the virtual studio as Nina wasn't holding her scripts.

I'm sorry this is a bit off-topic, but I'm sick with ITV's inability to schedule the weekend news properly (as are many others, I'm sure). Surely it would be a better situation for the 3pm film to play uninterrupted until 5pm (well, depending on it's length of course), followed by some kind of 30 minute filler (You've Been Framed, something like that)? Something I'd like to see happening would be for the regional news to be shown at 5:30, with the (national) Weekend News at a fixed time of 5:40, every weekend, instead of slicing the 3pm film in two halves. The evening schedule could then start around 6pm with TV Burp or something similar. I also think the late news would benefit from starting at around 10:30pm.

Discussed many times here over recent months - it's not so much the bulletins not being fixed that's the problem, it's the times they're being shown - especially as they pointlessly interrupt movies both in the afternoon and at night when both news and film viewers would benefit from the bulletin being on after the afternoon film and before the late-night film.
As I've probably said weekly for the last six months - who exactly is this strategy benefiting? I'd be very surprised if either the films or the news were getting higher ratings as a result.

I see Mary isn't their and Nina is in the studio again reading the 'other news' segement.
I'd prefer this week of special reports to be after the main news, rather than at the start of the programme. Some people will watch ITV News, for the news of the day. It will be a overkill considering News at Ten will probably be repeating what has been shown on the Evening News.
