Its been in the ITV News style since last week. Geraint and Nina have presented all of the bulletins today, anyone else find that shocking? They've been stuck in that ITN Newsroom since around 9am I bet!

Maybe she had a day off rather than being dropped as presenter of the Friday bulletin. I think one presenter is sufficient for Fridays anyway.

I know but last week it was hosted by Julie and she isn't there this week so its possible News at Ten is now completely seperate to Friday's Late News.

I agree.
Julie had done a months worth of Friday bulletins anyhow, probably making her the first newsreader to do a five-day week since 1988. I suspect from now on she'll rarely appear on Friday nights.

I'd say she just had the day off last night, remember she conducted that interview with Steve Wrights former wife..meaning Julie must have been in my home town
and its not very near to London, at least 5 hours away.
Maybe they gave her the night off for travelling up there and doing the interview, it wasn't an NaT exclusive, it was just shown on all ITV News bulletins, meaning someone like Nina or even a reporter could have done the interview.

Brekkie,
Who was the last one to do a five-day week in 1988?

Didnt Trevor used to often do 5 nights a week on the old News at 10 which ended in 1999. It was only occasionally that Julia Somerville, John Suchet or somene else would stand in.

The late bulletin back to a reasonable time this week - though they're still shoving the early evening edition in the middle of the news around 4.30pm.
I bet the early Sunday edition has lost alot of viewer too now Dancing on Ice has pushed it out to around 5.30-6pm, considering the old 6.40pm edition was often the highest rated of the week.
