Nice zoom out at the end of the bulletin their, the camera was floor level infront of the desk, I hate the (right) overhead shot.

Nina seemed to be frozen whilst perched over the desk mid-way through the credits!

Do we know a reason yet for the changing of chairs for news at ten?

The regional bulletins were at about the right times today I thought at 1.05pm and 5.40pm. Why cant they do that on a Saturday.

Also the Sunday evening bulletin which is the highest rated off the week apparently was in a slightly better slot this week at 5.55pm, only about 45 minutes earlier than usual.

Apparantly Trevor McDonald's a bit of a diva and won't sit on the normal ones.

I could tell you were joking there, but it was well known when he presented News At 10:30 he made it clear he didn't like standing up, hence why you only saw that at the beginning of the bulletin, I guess thats why he's pleased to do News At Ten as they've removed the walkway. Laughing

I'd say because the chairs they use on News at Ten suit the graphics and mood better than the ITV News chairs.

Any caps then of these infamous chairs?

It doesn't really matter at all what they're sitting on - in 95% of shots you never even see the chairs!

I would also imagine that this is the case. Grey chairs would look odd on NaT, even though you only see them during the side-shot at the beginning/end.

Similarly, black chairs would look out of place against the normal ITV News background and "walkway".
