Don't think so. I was told she has been off work for a while after a surfing accident, thats why the others have been filling in.


She's been back since then.


Since her accident, she had presented for a few days, but then disapeared again, I hope she is ok, she was a decent forecaster..

She came back too early, as was still getting dizzy spells, so is now off long term

I don't think so, Jo Blythe and Alex Beresford have been covering her shifts.

Manali Lukha from ITV London covered yesterday's forecasts.

They like fiddling with there pens... it's kinda distracting! Just put the bloody things on the table and leave them there!

What's the matter with ITV Weather, the long pauses after whoever says goodbye etc the camera lingers for some seconds afterwards. happened just now at the start also with Jo Blythe so we got 2-3 seconds of grinning before she spoke !

AIUI, it's to allow a clean opt point for UTV - not having Sheila's Wheels in NI, they need to run a different sponsorship sting (gocompare.com)

The couple of seconds either way means NI viewers don't get even a hint of the wrong sponsorship...

Technically isn't Becky a presenter rather than a forecaster?

Forecasters are people like Rob McElwee, Penny Tranter, Philip Avery etc. who have formal Met Office - or other - forecaster training.

The presenters have fewer formal qualifications - and though Met Office trained - don't have the same forecasting skills - formally at least.
