ITV News should stay how it is and if there are any tweaks they should only be minor. The only bad thing currently about the presentation of ITV News is the graphics such as the fake walkway, the over use of the ITV1 theme and the hideous atrium. They could use News at Ten launch as an excuse to expand on the blue graphics launched last year, and tweak the titles to include the blue as well as removing the awful yellow bar for the headlines and promotion of shows.
I have absolutely no problem with newsreaders standing up. Other current affairs programs have their presenters standing up so I don't see the universal rule from particular people that newsreaders have to sit down. What they should do is construct a real simple walkway in the same style as the old one then bring it on for ITV News and take it off for News at Ten. If it was already constructed, stored in the studio and it just needed to slot into place, then it wouldn't take 3 hours to complete.

Someone here did tell us they'd be no changes to the other bulletins - though how much in the know they are I don't know.
The thing is though News at Ten or not, they really do need the changes more than anything and in these days of more "generic" bulletins, it seems pretty stupid to revamp one bulletin yet leave the rest to remain rather dated - however much they might want to give News at Ten it's own identity.
At the least the show needs new titles and some major studio tweaking (OK then, that would probably constitute a complete revamp!). The teal titles though in comparisons to News at Ten's titles look pathetic - there needs to be something more connecting them, like in the 1990's when News at Ten still had it's own identity, but the use of Big Ben in the other bulletins meant there was no mistaking the bulletins were both from ITN.
For the other bulletins I'd based it around the clockface. Use the centre of it as the basis for the studio floor - and then work their graphics magic by making the outside rim the background with some clever animation making it look fantastic rather than cheap.
At the moment though from what I've seen I expect no change at all - though I do wonder whether they'll keep the bongs.

It only takes one bulletin to make a move away from this generic look and back into an era of bulletins having different styles. Trends go round in circles, I wouldn't be surprised if other broadcasters did the same

I'd very much welcome that. Having every bulletin looking the same is a bit 1990s now. We should go back to the 1980s and have different looks and themes for every bulletin.
