I think with all the bulletins having two presenters (from the 14th) they shouldn't go down the route of solo presenting. In answer to the female headed bulletin, I remember a few month's ago Katie and Nina anchored the Lunchtime News together. I'd like to see Nina on the Evening News, and actually agree seeing Mary and Nina anchoring would be interesting.

Edit:
Nice to see the News at Ten having its own webpage on the ITV News website: http://www.itv.com/News/Ten/default.html
complete with a 'Countdown to Launch'!

Good to see it has replaced ITV News Uploaded!

I have never thought of Mary and Nina doing the Evening News together. I wouldn't like it on a regular basis though. Maybe when a male presenter isn't availible.

Interesting logo on that webpage - though not one that could be adopted to the other bulletins there.

Re: news rotas - I think they should take the opportunity to use reviving News at Ten as an excuse to cut the Lunchtime News back to one presenter - it's never worked as well with two. It should have course also return to 12.30pm.

See they are definally fully behind it this time, compared to last time. It won't beat the BBC News but if it improves the ratings generally post 10pm it will be a success. Commentators won't see it that way though

I think whatever time Five decide to air Neighbours will have major changes to the daytime landscape across all channels. No point making any changes until that happens

Interesting that on the Lunchtime News Nina said her and Geraint would be presenting the Evening News, however we've got Nina and Mark presenting.

When interviewing the guy from West London, Mark was standing on the walkway, but on the actual floor their was a white dot, which was n't their in the opening title sequence.

I like the way Nina is presenting a report via the one-presenter shot.

Yes and Mark's papers had part of the Atrium background on them! I think thats the reason Mary was holding bright orange paper last week. I also like the one-presenter shot, it looks nice.

Mark is standing up and Nina is sitting down. Thats the setup of the programme so far!

Might I add randomly that Sheila's Wheels do actually sell insurance to men.

I wonder why their was a wire leading up to the desk (on Nina's side).

Cock-up with the regional opt-out.

Tyne Tees came in late I think, and at the end their was a black screen with 'Tense 2' in the centre.

Promo shown of the News at Ten also.

Studio looks nice.

ITV News just talking about the News at Ten there, showing part of a promo, Julie and Trevor both talking, and shots of big ben moving round to the time of 10pm, the studio is basically a dark london background with big ben's clockface, with a black floor (I'm not sure if it was supposed to be water) and then a white desk.

The TV ad for News at Ten was shown at the end of the news, It looks like their using the current desk and just using the background seen in the picture on the other page.
