Comparing the above the noticeable differences are the raised floor which the desk is on and the light boxes which are around the 'news wall'. I got the feeling that everything apart from the news desk and the raised floor it was on was 'fake'.
all bulletins are coming from Studio 2. they removed the walkway over the weekend (which is why they were in Studio 1 then) and there's nothing in its place at the moment. Presenters are standing on a box so that they are at the same height as the virtual walkway.

talking to someone who hires studios in London today and they thought that the current large studio used for ITV programmes is coming back on the rental market from the new year..not confirmed.
The current low budget staffing level -sorry 'back to basics' news format - with no jib or moves does not need such a large space. so ITV news may move.
the smaller virtual studio is used by CASHINN TV on sunday nights so they probably did move back into the normal home for last nights late news
