Is the ITV News logo on idents ment to stretch out to the full screen on 4:3 ?

The camera in the studio seemed to zoomed in on Geraint & Mary at the desk, god knows what it was like for people with over-scanning televisions.

As dbl has pointed out, Channel can't even do 16:9 on ITV1 Network programming. Channel programming is in 4:3, with all network programming in 14:9, just like all the ITV regions are on analogue.

I'm surprised GMTV are allowing the regions to put itvlocal.com on the astons.

During the 2004-2006 era, Westcountry wasn't allowed to put 'Westcountry' on the aston during GMTV bulletins, like they did with all other bulletins, they had to change it to 'Westcountry News'

11.55 ITV News and Weather
12.00 Regional News and Weather

Nothing different at all, I think with full 16:9 now that's different enough !
