Odd about that bug, yesterday it looked fine - except it was stretched out.

Suspect they had forgotten to upgrade the bug to 16:9 from 4:3, but in doing so have messed up the key or the keying.

Can anybody take captures of the set in 16:9 for me please?

Is that new, the regional news having its own intro voiceover?

The Live graphics are nice.

The Morning News is being cut to five minutes from next week to make way for CITV from 5.10-5.55am.

Now, this normally happens over Christmas itself - but never two weeks beforehand!

Could it be to try and up the hours of children's programmes that they show, but does it count at this hour of the morning?

What was the anno like before the news, was it a regional ITV1 ident?

No, it was a dark sort of distant shot of the studio and it said 'From the studios of (can't remember) this is Meridian Tonight, with Ian Axton and Sanjeeta Bhabra.'

Then the titles.

I think the straps do look quite high, but they really do look so much better. I've also noticed images on the newswall are scaled down, now you can see more of the atrium when the story images are also on.

Edit: Really nice background on the split screen with Tom Bradby, sort of ariel shot over the clock, each part spinning oppisite ways.
