Looking at ITV Westcountry on ITV Local they have the full intro,

Also noticed that the astons just fade in and out.

That was the very first Jago ITV Regional Set NOT London, London had theirs installed a few months later.

What on earth are you waffling on about? I'm just showing a comparison of what it used to look like. Rolling Eyes

Tyne Tees lunch bulletin is now on ITV Local, no doubt other regions are too...

Edit: The picture format hasn't changed to 16:9 or 4:3 on Tyne Tees, but it has for London.

Yep most of them are up now. Interesting ratio on ITV Local Wales, anamorphic widescreen! Laughing

Granada played out the full titles as did Wales.

God - them regional titles are awful, more like something you'd expect the BBC to come up with!

I know last time around ITV News changed from red/blue to yellow/blue just a few months before the 2004 relaunch, but even with the return of News at Ten I can't see it getting the major overhaul it requires anytime soon.

We'll probably have to wait a couple of years until News at Ten is axed again for any substantial change!

I think you're wrong Brekkie. You think Grade is a has-been but I truly think he's going to fix ITV1 from next year.

The News - I can easily see it getting a revamp in February for News at Ten, even in light of these small tweaks. As you say, last time around they swapped the colours mere months before the 2004 revamp.

Nice, and simple headline straps.

Edit: Nice graphics used on the plasma screen for the sports desk.

Their is a sun-ray effect and a football spinning round, shining. (You have to see it!)

The regional graphics are lovely, the most lovely sport fixtures screen just came on - they are very polished!

The 'scoreboard' screen is very nice - apart from the fact Tyne Tees decided to put text onscreen that was cut off on 4:3

No one said London's was the first.

Er - but it was the first.

Couldn't the regional programmes have gone out at 6.25 and the film moved earlier to 4pm, so that regional and national were together? It's stupid scheduling.

Is this what you mean? It's nice isn't it, much better than the other graphics!
