Pleased to see that awful teal DOG gone too.

I think Tyne Tees faded the audio in too late; that's how it sounded anyway.

So glad they've finally converted to widescreen. It looks so much better and modern. And the astons aren't too bad either.

Also, I'm sure about a month ago I noticed ITV Weekend News in widescreen on STV. Testing it perhaps?

They did this last weekend, their was no sound at all during the titles, or the lead in for the opening story with Edward Baren... funnilly enough they chopped that bit off the ITV Local bulletin.

Does anybody have a cap of what the new regional titles look like? They never show the titles on Central News at the weekend for some reason!

Well, I found your comments unnecessary! This is a forum for TV presentation enthusiasts, however sad you may find it. I was surprised they changed them as they rarely bother at ITV.
