I don't know, but ITV Local Granada has been looking like that since yesterday. It just looks a bit more tidier with 'ITV Local' being on the top of the page for all Regions and then ITV Local + name underneath, and it fills up the rest of the screen which looks really white.
I must admit I'm finding ITV Local rather useful, I'm not the biggest fan of Granada Reports or ITV News, but it's a good service, good quality and easy to use.

I assume www.itvlocal.com/london is being tested for a new look?

ITV Wales had an ad break too - i wondered why the bulletin ended at 6.25pm. It appears most if not all regions had an add break.

Suprised ITV Tyne Tees had an advert break at 18:26 - did any other regions?

I really like the current set up of the ITV news, I hope the tweaks don't change the current format as this clip demonstrates superbly

Both Vincent and Austin are good reporters, particularly Austin. But what ITN seems too quick to do is shunt people who are decent with a mic in hand on an OB into the newscasting role when a) they are unsuited to it and b) when there are better people available. Vincent does not have the authority and Austin lacks charisma; when they are reporting on location this is less of an issue as the story gives sufficient substance to cover the flaws which are all too apparent when it's just them in the studio. For me, this is why Alastair is better than either as a main newscaster.
By the way, and I know it's a little off topic, but News Knight makes me want to curl up and die with embarrassment. Surely the best bit of car-crash TV of late, and the final nail in the coffin of McDonald's dignity?

Then Geraint Vincent could be banished from presenting duties forever! I really do think Alastair deserves the late news. After all, he lost the battle for it in 1992 and let's face it, he's a million times better than Mark Austin.

ITV Local Central has changed now too. I think the layout is ok but I don't like how you have to scroll down the page to look at all the other features etc. whereas before it was all grouped together and your could look at the features that are on the site more easier. Just leaves Wales to change the layout now!

I may be a bit behind the times but why is Katie hosting some of the Proms on the BBC? I presume she does some freelance work.

Some changes to the website today. The uploaded bit is further down the page with the main story at the top left hand corner.
I dont think the uploaded thing has been a success as the same few people keep appearing everyday with their views on the website, however this week there has been more variety of people on the news programmes and not just Sally Johnston, David Trigger, Mike Leaver, Chaz Singh and Nathan John.

The website is looking a little better. A few people have said that the site needs to go back to having sub-sections, such as "Britain", "World", "Sport" and "Entertainment. But, Sport and Entertaiment now have their own up-to-date sections. Obviously it's no BBC News website, but they could add a little more into it.
