I think when they spin the camera around (etc) at the end - it makes the studio look much bigger.

You see I think the opposite.

I feel it makes the studio appear smaller because you can clearly tell that the background is fake because you can see there is just a studio wall behind it and that its no a window.....

I'm not saying any viewer actually beleives it is a window but it is the illusion they are going for.

Anyway nice to see behind the scenes a bit Very Happy

I noticed on the ITV Morning News, they actually had the newsreader standing up for the main story. I am guessing this isn't a regular thing?
The presenter, Jon Gilbert seemed so dull and bored.

Today was the first time I've watched the Morning News in a couple of years, and I thought Jon Gilbert was the most depressing presenter I've seen ever. I prefered Owen Thomas so much more.

ITV have obviously pushed the boat out for ITV News. Last night Juliet Bremner had a umbrella with the NEW logo on it. Last time we seen a umbrella it was the old blue and yellow theme, despite the new look being around for around 2 months.

Regarding this new itv news website with an emphasis on user generated content:

"And then at night there will be 4 minutes of Uploaded shown on the 10.30pm ITV News programme."

Shocked I don't like the sound of that. 4 minutes of low production values will take a big chunk of an already tight bulletin.

...and then four minutes of uploaded video Laughing

Haha. ITV News is really bad nowadays. It's had such a terrible transformation in the past year and a half. The quality of journalism is incredibly dumbed down and has become a ''read all about it'' cockney news provider.

I knew ITV News was getting bad, but I didn't realise how bad - 4 mins of 'viewer uploaded content' what utter crap, keep it for the website.
Will ITV News change into widescreen, when their new site launches on ITV.com? Hope so - Thanks Very Happy
