Yeah, on the evening news everything was blue - the logo in the titles, the straps

But in some places the logo's bar after NEWS was still teal.

No it was deffinetly teal, just watched it online and there have been no changes at all.

Must've been the TV I watched it on.

Shame, it looked much better blue.

As someone who is relativley new to news presentation I found it hard to belive that the main ITV News set is totally green, with the walkway and desk just the real objects in the studio. But then I saw some pictures of the studio and I couldn't believe it.

How do they know where to look for the live links, interviews with guests via the newswall etc. It must take some learning to do this?

As a newboy to this could someone give me a hint?

They project tiny little numbers onto the wall to give the presenters a general indication of where to look, and can also project a faint image of the full graphics so the presenters know whats going on around them.

What always impresses me, knowing how green those screens can be, is how they never ever cringe while starring at nothing. Must have really hurt the eyes on a long shift back in the old news channel days.

It's ridiculous isn't it. I think you've said this, but I'll say it again...why is ITV (in particular) giving so much interest to a story that was caused by the carelessness of two parents.

Here is an image of the real studio with the green screen. As mentioned above, their is little numbers on screen, directing newsreaders as to where things are popping up!

When they are speaking to someone on location, their is normally a television next to the studio (off screen) where the presenters really look, but on screen it looks like they are looking at the wall speaking to them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that was the London Tonight studio.
