I very much doubt the theme will change dramatically, and I'm sure Big Ben and the bongs will remain as long as ITN makes ITV News. Be interesting to see if they did go their seperate ways.

I would expect everything will be covered in the main thread on the main forum, even if it is news on this occasion. There will definally be overlap.
I suggest having a thread called 'ITV News relaunch' here in the newsroom to cover the immediate few days of the national and regional news. The existing regional and national threads would remain for non-relaunch items

Why should this thread close because there is a revamp? Its not a thread specially for the revamp, its a general discussion of the ITV News. Cant it be discussed here and a separate thread in the main forum used for the new idents/trailers on ITV1/2/3 etc.

Agreed. I'm sure a new thread will be opened if 'radical' changes are made.
