Lucy Owen did the lunchtime news but Nina's back for the evening!

If Nina is now back does that mean the end of Lucy Owen presenting on the ITV News?

I hope not. Let's hope it spells the end for Geraint Vincent.

Yes, today poor Romilly found herself reporting (out of vision) on Knut the German gummy bear or something...

On the evening news Tom Bradbys report on the Scottish elections had a graphic of the Scottish flag and the Union Jack when he was talking about the union, I noticed it and though it was a very stupid error! Pro-union anybody?! By the 10.30 they'd charged it to the Scottish flag and the English flag.

I doubt it - according to the Radio TImes he will be presenting the weekend bulletins.

Damn. I don't understand ITV's fascination with him. He's a terrible newsreader - awkward posture/stance, strange intonation and he's not the best in the world at ad-libbing. For me, Nina is 100 times better.

I would prefer it if Nina did the lunch bulletins on the weekends with Geraint doing the evening bulletins. With them both doing the Friday Evening News, I think they used to be a great team.
