Smashing to see Mary coming in on Fridays! Geraint Vincent was on the Evening News today with her. Daisy when I watched her the other weekend was awful, and I tuned into yesterdays (Sundays) evening news and she was excellent! Do keep it up, much better than Lucy Owen, agreeing with posts above! She should just stick to her regional news programme.
I'd rather watch him over Mark Austin anyday of the week

Still? Maybe it's because Mark's decided he doesn't want to do so many, or maybe it's because ITV wants to expand its presenter numbers, keeping the most senior to the late evening (like with the BBC) and choosing other presenters for the early evening (ones who younger people would prefer). I do have to say though I dont think Alister is any replacement for Nick!

Mark Austin is presenting the RTS awards tonight that's why he isn't on evening or 10.30.
I'm a new member by the way... have been reading for a while but it wouldn't let me register!
I'm a Channel 4 News fan really... but it doesn't seem to be popular here. 
I do like ITV though, Mark is a great presenter IMO. Geraint Vincent is nowhere near as good really, though he is very cute...

Same here, they wouldn't let me register either!
That's because Asa turned off registration for a while to stop spamming idiots.
I know for a fact that someone like, oh I don't know... er... Nick Harvey would never sink to such depths.

It might not be discussed alot, but it's well respected.
A couple of years ago we had many a page discussing how Samira spinned in her chair at the end of each bulletin!
Also because Channel 4 is really well respected and never seems to have problems, where as the BBC and ITV are constantly making changes that spark debate.
