I must say that I saw the report at the time and thought that its simplistic and sensationalist approach to Blair's faith was inappropriate.

Their spin bore little relation to what the PM actually said to Parkinson. I am glad that it was challenged.

Imust say i think ITV news is looking a bit tired these days, the whole thetre f news thing although refreshed not too long ago just seems so boring now and out of date. I know the technology is second to none but the virtual thing does tend to become tiresome , remember the bbc. I just think a re launch with a new set would do it wonders the graphics are fine, jsut that green screen irritates me. And steve scott i think hs fantastic he should be given the evening news slot with nina hussein in my opeinion.

Anyone got an online link to the spoof ITN Alastair Stewart sketch that was played out on BBC2's Dead Ringers last week?

BBC Prime never shows Dead Ringers overseas - I read that their take on Alastair and the ITN "Theatre of News" was hilarious. I am dying to see it.

I've been browsing the new look TV Newsroom and I found this image

the virtual screen looks different from what I expected as a while back it used to just be lime green and now it has weird patterns and numbers on it? Thanks to TV Newsroom for the image.

Yes, during TV newscasts there is a faint outline on the panels so that the presenter knows where he/she is looking and what to look at.

The studio looks so small from that picture (albeit only some of it is visible but it does seem significantly different).

Well the background is very dark on the Evening programme now, and looking outside its still light Rolling Eyes And Simon Harris is outside the Foregign Office and its light their.
