Did your regional news programme at 6pm feature an advert from Mary Nightingale telling how you can get in contact with ITV News?

It seemed a bit odd and pointless really! I wonder if it will be shown again tomorrow?

This just went out on Calendar, it's for "citizen correspondents", what a load of rubbish, news on the cheap. Get some proper correspondents and do it yourself.

We had this on ITV Wales as well.

It's been being flogged on Central News E for the past two weeks; the trailers fill in a couple of minutes for CNE I suppose. News on the cheap being filled with trailers about news on the cheap Laughing

Debroah Turness (speaking on Media Talk) metioned the beefed up ITV News website - she mention UGC - lets hope UGC doesn't feature too prominently though!

What were ITV News thinking with that report tonight regarding mobile phone drivers.

3 people stood by the roadside pointing and shouting "oi mobile phone" at passing car drivers whilst holding ITV News "Mobile Menace" placards. Just laughable.

God - ITV News must really be short staffed at the moment - Mary Nightingale hosting again on a Friday!

What's happened to Lucy Owen?

Romily Weaks seems to be the most regular stand-in female now. Quite strange the other day when she and Geraint hosted the Lunchtime News - kind of like they'd let the kids have a go!

I think though after a shaky start Geraint has quickly estabhlished himself as a very capable member of the team and as I've said before, he's now effectively the number two to Mark Austin.

They'd probably read your posts on this forum. They make me want to go and wave a placard demanding that morons like you are banned from the internet.
