I cant believe they had a story about Jade Goody on the ITV Evening News - I suppose we should be greatful she wasnt the top story

They could argue that it was a story about an alleged fraud

(I'd love to know how the BBC defend running a trailer for Johnny Briggs appearing in a special episode of Holby or some such programme as a "story" in this evening's radio news headlines).

Have just been watching the itv morning news and the itn caption at the end sort of flew in and was zoomed in and then animated like normal as it zoomed out very fast. Is this the first time this has happened.

Just seen the 11:10 summary and yes it did the same so it looks like they have slighty adapted it.

ITV London presenter Jonathan Wills on the Lunchtime bulletin today. First time ive seen him on the national news for quite a while (possibly the news channel days)

I'm shocked he was presenting the Lunchtime News today! I haven't seen him in a while presenting on ITV1. The last time I saw him was on the ITV Evening News Extra, on the News Channel. However as you say he does ITV London so that's probably why he isn't on ITV1 National much.

He did do the sport on the 10.30 occassionally, but that's been dropped for nearly a year.

Is he back with the main weekend bulletins later?

Yes he does a lot of London's shorter bulletins like the 11.10am, 13.50pm and weekends. He also presented the 6pm bulletin with Katie a few times the other week.
