I don't mind Romilly that much. I thought she did a good job on this evening's bulletin. I think I prefer Nina and Lucy, though. However, I do not care much for Geraint. I think he's a Mark Austin wannabe. Just watch his mannerisms and his intonation - they're practically identical to Mark's.

Yeh, I feel exactly the same. Even the way he buttons up his jacket so it looks like he's slightly pregnant!

And, Geraint also wears a horrible orange tie, like Mark.
But then again, ITV News will have to try out these 'new ones' to present the weekend news, seeing as all the faces from the ITN News days seem to be leaving at the moment.
The weekend news used to be on top-level status in the late 80s - late 90s for me, with the likes of newscasters on a regular basis such as: Denis Tuohy, Dermot Murnaghan, Tim Ewart [he was actually a brilliant eloquent newscaster - why isn't he reading the news from time to time], Nicholas Owen, Carol Barnes, John Suchet, Anya Sitram, Sandy Gall et al.
Now I know ITN had more money then, to spend from their yearly allowance ITV gives them, but it will be nice to see some of their 'older' reporters and newscasters to be given a try on the weekend news, against their younger counterparts?
How about Tim Rogers, Tim Ewart, Penny Marshall - someone among those lines who wish to moonlight as a newscaster?
