I thought the opening shot of Mark and Lucy tonight was hysterical! Mark was aligned perfectly on the screen but Lucy looked like she was peeking in down in the right hand corner! It seemed even more pronounced tonight than it usually does with Mary presenting. I wish they'd sort out that shot when Mark is presenting. It looks awful. It would be a lot better if they were both sat down for the headlines - at least they would be at the same height. It works well on the Lunchtime News because Nick and Katie are about the same height. It looks a little amusing when Alistair is on because he's fairly short, but nowhere near as bad as Mark + Mary/Lucy.

Well, short of implementing Roger's suggestions, I'd suggest they ditch the standing if it doesn't look right. What's the point of keeping it if it looks stupid?! Lucy looks like a child for God's sake!

LOL totally agree. I'd say, about thirteen or so. I remember the first time I saw her presenting on the ITV News Channel a couple of years ago, I thought she was a teenager, no joke!
