How has ITV News been opening over the last few nights - tonight they began with the middle part of the titles (around the clockface), putting an ITV News logo over the end of it and then going straight into the news with the music fading out in the background.

Usually on bulletins without headlines don't they just use the end part of the titles with the logo forming up.

Yup I've watched ITV News the past couple of days - and they've been doing that sequence on most of their programmes.

Some caps from the new Moral of the Story series with Alastair Stewart in the virtual studio at ITN.

Interesting it's going out in 4:3 on all platforms.

I like the programme so far, but I think the new series in the New Year, which will air on a Sunday night, I think, should be on at an earlier time.

when does Nicolas Owen finish at ITN? Using him on the news at 10:30 (at 11:00) reminds me of what a great news caster he is!

Im not sure that the NC would look like that if it was still around? Wouldnt it have the same graphics and set as the ITV News?

I think he might have meant if the channel was still ITN branded?

Just like on Sundays, the 6.45 edition of ITV News is doing well in the ratings this week, managing to be the highest rating news bulletin every day

Nice to see Nick on the 5.15pm today, shame when he leaves ITV News he is really good on his own.

Its nice to see Nick on the weekend bulletins for a change. I remember when he often did the weekends, in particular Sunday's.

He presented during the week which is why I was suprised to see him presenting today. I've only caught the Lunchtime News a couple of times and I think he is better presenting alone.

Shame he is moving to BBC News 24.
