Why did Lucy Alexander go to Sky News? She was one of the best presenters they had, they could have got rid of someone else instead!

I think she might have gone freelance. She was still presenting London Today last week.

I doubt any ITV NC will turn up regularly on Sky News considering they only relaunched a few months ago with a flurry of new signings. If the ITV NC had closed a couple of months before the Sky News relaunch it might have been a different story.

She was well shafted when ITN took over the London news contract. Dumped from London Tonight for the more high-profile Katie Derham. I wouldn't blame her if she jumped ship (although if she's freelancing maybe she went as part of the layoffs following the closure of the ITV NewsChannel?)

Katie was no good on London Tonight at all, high profile don't mean anything on a regional news programme for the Captial. She's better on the national bulletins. Lucy Alexander should come back to LT.

I think Nina is much better than Katie on LT

Yeah, I also think she is better than Katie on national bulletins.

Nina could get away with co-presenting LT permantely with her experience on BBC London News.

Some presentation 'blips' tonight. We got a short shot of the ITN clock and then Martin Davies! I also belive they cut out of Damon Green's report.

Something I've wondered since this Lisa has gone onto the news at ten thirty whats happened to Felicity Barr and Steve Scott are they part of this breaking news team
or have they deicded to jump ship
