I thought that Joyce O'Haja and Phil Gayles presented this bulletin. Therefore it couldnot be a repeat.

He doesn't mean 'repeat' in the literal sense, just that many of the same packages used on the 10.30 are rehashed for the Morning News.

It's Ohajah and Gayle, by the way.

I remember BIG MOIRA at several of the "Audeince with......" programmes, such as Billy Connolly, Diana Ross and Jimmy Tarbuck.

With Connolly, she was in hysterics during the incontinence pants sketch and Tarbuck said during his show that he would love to have a jacuzzi and hot-tub with Moira Stuart!

Anyway - when will Nicholas Owen's last bulletin at ITN be? I am still kinda sad he is leaving - he is the only remaining "name" which has been synonymous with ITN for years, apart from his successor of course.

Well I know Nicholas Owen appeared in an Audience with Ken Dodd II Laughing

It appears to be uniform across all the panels so I would guess that it's just an aspect of the way the platform is put together.
(I seem to remember that it has been commented on before, many moons ago).

I liked the balance between the use of the studio and the outside broadcast in today's Evening News.

Also, I think Katie has done a particularly good job on all the additional national bulletins that she has presented over the last couple of weeks. (Yes, I am a fan, but I wouldn't make the comment if I hadn't been struck by the, IMO, particularly high standard of the presentation during those bulletins).

Yes - I've noticed that white line in the floor.. but didn't think of mentioning it.

I do hope that in 2007 - ITV NEWS will be getting a new studio. As I am sick and also bored of the current one. If they were to start on a new studio.. would they do work on the old one (before the virtual). Or is their just one news studio?

Depends on what they planned - I'd imagine they'd recreate the studio in the second virtual studio while the main one was refurbished.

Can't see anything happening next year though.. Personally I think they should switch to the second virtual studio, set up similar to the Briefings with the Big Ben clockface forming the floor, then adding a circular desk in the middle.

Wouldn't be as much room for "news wall" style features though - but enough!

I really doubt that'll happen, considering that the studio has been revamped 3 times in 2 and a half years.

And yet not at all!

Just simply carpeting the walkway to make it a bit "softer" would improve it alot IMO!
