These weekend bulletins are terrible, one camera shot all the way though, and daylight at 11.10PM!

Who presented the news headlines on The Sunday Edition today. I've not seen her before.

Also have ITV News got a replacement for Martin Guiesller as Scotland Correspondent and John Ray as UK Editor yet?

Yeh I've always wondered why the weekend bulletins are always so stale. Is it because it's cheaper to have less camera angles, as less staff need to work, if they just set up the cameras in one direction?

One strange thing though, the Jib Camera, sometimes on Sunday its in a completley different position to Saturday, so it is moved during the weekend.

Regional newsrooms are capable of having different shots at the weekend, and where I am, they even zoom, so I can't see why ITV news can't.

Aida Trackher - appologises if I have misspelt her name. I was just going by the way Andrew Rawnsley pronounced it

Well ITV Wales dont - they just have the same shot for all of their weekend bulletins, and dont use the backdrop of Cardiff Bay either just a shot of the studio with a screen with 'Wales News' on it. Its the same setup for the weekday GMTV bulletins.

A bit of a waste really that not all bulletins make full use of the studio and dont use the backdrop.

ITV's report on the Glasgow 'murder' is a straight lift from STV - great fun for those of us up north.

Baffling news agenda as well - something about a Scottish politician's defamation battle ahead of this story.

Intresting ending - we had no wide shot, just the camera pulling back from the shot with Nina. Then the endcap just faded in instead of it coming on with the climax of the music.

The background is light again. I wonder if they cant change it somehow, or there just lazy and think no one will notice. Or maybe its even recorded, but I'm sure they'd realise people would notice its not light at 11.05 at night.

I have noticed though, that seems to be a different studio, as the lighting is different to the main studio. They may have a seperate smaller studio for short bulletins, with just the plasma. Also with the desk turned round which may make it more true. Probably they have a different gallery.
