Alastair Stewart would be the best person to front the News at 10.30.


I agree, Alastair would be good on the 10.30. I expect they have given Mark to 2 main bulletins as he is the main ITV News presenter - mind you Sir Trevor didnt get 2 bulletins when he was the main ITV presenter.

There was a slight mix up with the images on today's Lunchtime News, for some reason this appeared!

Chris Choi presenting the LN? Or was that during a report.

Has Chris ever presented an ITV1 programme before, even if it was a bulletin? I seem to remember seeing him as a presenter on ITV News, could well have been the NC though.

He was doing a report on junk mail. He was using the images behind him to show contact numbers and addresses on how to stop junk mail. The last image was supposed to be a litter bin but the ITN endcap appeared instead!

I know its fake, but it so looks like part of the studio!

I wondered that myself. I had to rewind it as I thought I was seeing things. Confused

Nice shot on the lunchtime news there, It showed Nina talking to someone with the camera on the left of the studio instead of the right! It makes such a change using the left of the studio more, rather than the usual right shots.

Yeah, using the studio much better this week. Its how it should be used!

Missed it today myself but they did mention it yesterday. They didn't say anything about it being half an hour shorter but they just said it would be at the new later time of 1:30pm.

On London Today, Jonathan Wills said the local news would be on at the new time of 1.50pm

Just came back from holiday. And read tv guide, noticing the lunchtime itv news was now 13.30pm - and with a double bill of the price is right at 12.30!!
