Yes, it's Geraint and Nina on the Evening News Tue/Wed/Thu, and Steve and Nina on Friday.
James Mates is doing the 10.30 Tue-Fri.
The Radio Times doesn't show who will be presenting the Lunchtime News, as usual, but hopefully Katie will be back, (after all her holiday did start a week before Mary's).
Edit: added a quote of the Londoner's message as my one ended up on a new page.
I must admit I'm warming to him. He seems less shouty and wooden than he did earlier on. At one point I turned around as I thought Mark Austen was on, his voice sounded quite similar.
As they say, practice makes perfect - but practicing on the flagship bulletin isn't the best idea!
This is yet another reason why they miss the ITV News Channel - but even without it they could test out potential newsreaders on either the Morning News or London Tonight.
They should consider giving him the sport slot on the 10.30pm bulletin - it be good to have a regular sports presenter back, and also is a good place to get the viewers used to him as a potential regular stand in.
has it been confirmed who's presenting it yet? I can't see them keeping two presenters for the one bulletin.
As has already been said, there was a period of time when the Lunchtime News did have two regular presenters, so it's quite possible that it'll happen again.
I dont see why they need 2 presenters on a 30 minute lunchtime bulletin - which will probabaly be down to about 20 minutes when you take into account the advert break and regional news - the 10.30 doesnt need 2. Fair enough the 6.30pm as that is the flagship bulletin and needs 2 presenters.
The period before was when the lunchtime news was 30 minutes with the regional news seperate.
