Very good point - I try to tune in to the Lunchtime News whenever I can but if it does move to 13.30 then there's no way I will be watching.

It would be a shame if it moved to 1.30pm. A lot of people watch it in their lunch break (me included) but moving it to that time would lose a good few viewers (plus people switching to Neighbours).

12.30-1pm or 1-1.30pm would probably be the better option.

Surely ofcom would have something to say about the regional news being cut.

I'm sure it be clawed back with the odd minute here and there.

Simply by not having commercials in the 6pm programme they are probably providing an extra 6-7minutes of news on top of what it required!

As much as its nice to see Lucy occasionally, I don't understand why we can't see a couple of overnight talents on the daytime bulletins occasionally, because surely they're higher up in the ranks than Lucy.

But then again wasn't it speculated Lucy was headed for the NC before it closed? Does she still do Wales Tonight?

Yes Lucy still presents Wales Tonight each weeknight, and occasionally the lunchtime ITV Wales bulletin.

Yes, seeing dear old Lucy Cohen presenting the national news was more of a newsworthy event than the latest goings on between Hezbollah and the Israeli Army.

Long live Lucy

Its a shame Lucy doesnt present the national news very often. I noticed yesterday Juliet Piper made a return after a long break to present Wales Tonight, I think if Lucy does go national permanently then Juliet will take her place on Wales Tonight.

What with Geraint presenting the Evening bulltins in the week and now Lucy Owen presenting the weekend bulletins - you could be mistaken to think that the Welsh are taking over ITN Towers!

Will Lucy ever wear boots like Nina Hossain did earlier in the week!? Phwooar!

I wonder if Glyn will appear on ITV Wales News soon?

I wonder if they'll make all the other changes to ITV regional news, when the half-hour lunchtime bulletin is introduced soon?
