No, not tonight - Steve and Nina anchored the EN. Both Mark & Mary appear to have their "days off" on a Friday.
Whats the point in saying he does the ITV Evening and Nightly news weekdays then really. Might as well leave him on the evening news and get another anchor who can do 5 days a week for the 10.30 bulletin.

But do you see the likes of Anna Ford and Huw Edwards working all 5 days? Lately even Alagiah and Kaplinsky have been having 1 day off as well.
So it may seem its not realistic to expect somebody on 5 nights a week.

Just like Trevor
. But seriously, many people prefer Alastair, myself included. This in't a cue to start the anti-Mark war, it's too late, Alastair lost the race again, like in 1992.

If you think about it, we can assume that if Mark is not present for the 6.30 Evening News, he will not do the 10.30 Nightly either, so he would not be doing a full 5-day week regardless of whether he had other responsibilities. What would make sense however, would be to continue the pattern, so if a stand-in presenter is called in for the 6.30, it should also be their duty to do the 10.30.
