ITV News

ITV Tyne Tees programme went well. Finished weather straight into rolling clock with ITV News, quiet music. Lasting a bit of time, froze with Mark and someone talking over. Then goes back to him live with newspaper. (Did he not know what was going on - he didnt apoligise!)

Nina Hossain & Geraint Vincent presenting the Evening News tonight!

Oh no...Can't ITV see that Geraint is nearly as bland as Mark Austin?
OK, he may have been nervous last week, but the Evening News is the main programme, what has happened to Steve Scott? Even Bill Neely would have been better.

Geraint!!! Has he ever presented the news before?? I would have thought James Mates or even Chris Rogers would have been higher up pecking

Geraint presented the weekend bulletins about 2 weeks ago, didnt see one, but from the response on here it seemed like he was very nervous, and being handed the MAIN itv bulletin tonight, im sure he's more nervous.
But then again hes not presenting on his own so...we shall see

- I dont like Steve Scott
- I've never seen Chris Rogers present a MAIN programme - which i would like to see.
- Havent seen Bill Neely in a while, last time i saw him on ITV News was when he was doing the weekend programmes, in the virtual studio (whlist adding small effects to the studio for revamp).

Geraint has been fine so far, I actually think him and Nina make a nice on screen couple

OK I have to admit Geraint actually did OK on the 630. Big Al at 10.30 tonight (gosh he is busy this week)
Chris Rogers has been doing quite alot of the London News for the week

I mean in line with ITV News not ITV London thankyou.

I think the Evening News was OK tonight Nina Hossain was marvellous always is of course, but I got the feeling that Geraint was sort of shouting a bit. Did anyone else find that?
