I think what we need it a new section of the forum ... where we can go if we are feeling a bit down.

This is a TV presentation forum, not the Samaritans.

I know that, but it could be connected to TVF, but have a different name, but could appeal to different visitiors to those of The Lounge?
Shall I get my coat? Rolling Eyes

LoL to the Samaritans joke but seriously...we just need to be a bit more controlled from now on.

I know this is random but..
whens ITV News getting a new studio.
Cos i'm getting sick of the current one, they never do anything new with camera angles and so on.

I doubt they will get a new studio soon, as even though this is a few years old they spent some good money on it. I agree with camera angles, they NEVER use the left of the studio which i think is a complete waste of space!

They shove everything to the right hand side of the stuido. Totally agree with you Josh. I mean if they're going to keep the same studio at least try something new with it. Also at the start of the programme the presenters are stood up, in the middle sat down. Randomly at the end they're standing up saying goodbye!

I see Nina Hossain has changed her name to Alister Stewart...or so the announcer thought

Media Guardian:

Quote:
An ITV spokeswoman... ...said premium-rate phone lines were a growing part of the broadcaster's business, as it aims for 50% of its revenue to come outside of spot-ads.

"This is a positive thing," she added. "It is a perfect example of ITV looking for new revenue streams and it is what ITV should be doing."

Even ITV regional shows are getting in on the act, introducing premium-line contests to their 6pm bulletins.

One source said each ITV1 regional bulletin was being encouraged to have one competition a day, news events permitting, although the spokeswoman denied there was any edict to this effect.

Tom Bradby being interviewed on C4 News at Noon...missed the begining so don't know how he was introduced

I managed to catch it, Tom was in a meeting with one of the Royals. And the media somehow managed to find out what they were discussing. Tom was discussing this with the C4 presenter.

The DVD loop that's fed into the backdrop must have ended. It's happened in the plain BBC Regions backdrops before, rewinding backgrounds on air.

Alledgelly with Alastair Stewart - even though Nina Hossain has just presented the 09:25 update! Earlier in the week the announcer got the names wrong!

So this will be the first time that ITV News has presented an extra news bulletin with their 'breaking/rolling news' coverage team?
