Is that Lisa Aziz or Lisa Knights that presented the sport on ITV News at 10:30 tonight?

It seems strange that when ITV (News Channel) is losing staff that more regional presenters seem to be drafted in for stints i.e. Lucy Owen and now Lisa (probably Aziz) working on a national level!

And then runs to the normal standing position!

I didn't see her running. Anyway, I like the adjusted format of the programme, I can see the informal traits coming through. They used the whole newswall for tomorrow's papers, nice touch.

OOooooo Shocked I've never really liked her presenting on ITV West News and never thought she was network material - how did she do?
Was she filling in for Felicity Barr and Steve Scott who seem to share this late sport shift?

I think she did well, she has a pleasant air about her.

How many times did Max Clifford broadcast on the News Channel? Why did he have his own show, it seems totally random to me.

I knew I recognised her from somewhere but I dont watch ITV West News much.

I wonder if we will see Lucy Owen from ITV Wales News on the national bulletins again anytime soon?

It was a one-off pilot. Thankfully.

I noticed on the end of EN tonight a Coming up at 10.30 style aston was used with the clock and a blue bar along the screen.

That is usually used at 22:15 when Sir Trev used to promote what was coming up in 15 minutes.

Something I was wondering about that promo whilst watching it last night. It appears to be in full 16:9, with no black 'curtains' at the side like the actual bulletins, and the picture quality from the studio looks sharper, suggesting they're using proper widescreen rather than just arc'ing a 4:3 image. Can anyone confirm this... and if they can manage 16:9 for the promos, why not for the bulletins?

Time Warp
An improvement, I felt last night, with Mark's 10.30. I liked the way he stood for a good ten minutes, presenting the main stories using the newswall to its full potential, thus creating a greater impact.

As said previously, also nice to see a new face to the sport, Lisa Knights, sitting next to Mark at the beginning of her bulletin - the only stupid mistake I felt was the fact that she was suddenly standing up after the first story.

Also at the end of the bulletin, where we went back to the olden days, with Mark walking from left to right of the newswall with the papers was another improvement.

Much better.

I think they should either keep the sport presenter at the desk, or have them standing up, not both. Wasn't keen on the ending, prefer the anchor to be sitting at the desk when the lights go down. But it may be a little different in a couple of weeks anyway.
