Yeh, I've said it before, she only seems to get shifts that noone will do. Surely she feels used? ITV could at least give her the odd weekend or morning shift...

Maybe she doesn't want to do the odd shift. She may be happy doing what she is doing.

Would you?

How can I answer that, when I don't do the job, and I'm not Lucy?

not sure where you get that idea from. She did Christmas Day last year, but then so have Nicholas Owen, Andrea Catherwood and Shuilie Ghosh in the recent past (and George Alagiah and Darren Jordon on the BBC). Do you think they feel 'used' as you put it?

i would say she's quite happy as a regional presenter to get some airtime on the national news.

I see what you're saying, Luke, but those presenters get air time frequently nationally anyway.

I agree. She is the joint most senior presenter on ITV Wales so she is probabaly grateful for the chance to appear on the national news now and again. Its just with the news channel closing her apperances on the ITV News have been few and far between.

Personally I would like to see her as a regular on the ITV News as she is an excellent presenter and the best ITV Wales have.

Yeh, definately agree on that one, Jez. She has the right voice, appearance etc.

It looks like Lucy is only doing the mid morning bulletin today, and Bill Neely will be on later for the 2 evening bulletins. Maybe she is going back to Cardiff in time for tommorow's Wales Tonight!

Wonder who will be taking over Nina Hossains role now that she's pregnant, Andrea Catherwood back to weekdays perhaps?
