During a previous football tournament (Euro 2004?) ITV Evening News, C4 News and Five News were all going out simultaneously from GIR at 7pm.

What would be the problem? There must be sepearte crews for each programme anyway!

Wonder why Marks opening was in the newsroom,and the first story is at the desk with both presenters?? Maybe some studio problems

I remember in 2004 they done everything from the desk on one programme, Also they didnt go to the home office via newswall,they just cut to there live?

Something's afoot at Gray's Inn Road!!!!!!

No handover from London Tonight to the Evening News, seperate weather. Titles roll, then shot of Mark in Newsroom. Following titles, double shot of Mark and Mary. No use of newswall when handing over to a live.

Yes, London Tonight fell apart, there was a sound failure in the studio - maybe this affected Studio 2 as well? Nonetheless the programme was handled brilliantly by Alastair and Nina.
