Yes, that must be one of the latest scheduled, though I think that there was an 11.50 bulletin a couple of months back. Why is it so late?

The late ITV News on Saturday 27th May is scheduled at 11.45pm! I know the late Saturday bulletin is usually pretty late, but this runs into Sunday morning!

After watching tonight's evening news, I've seen that ITV News' coverage of news that actually matters is somewhat small. I detest their obsession with animal vivisection at the moment. They play on ethical debates and take sides, which is wrong as their view doesn't always match that of the viewer. They also dramatise matters greatly an tonight, there was hardly anything that actually mattered to me. I don't particularly care about animal testing (and by the way I think their polls were quite warped. I doubt a third of women who buy beauty products see if it has been tested on an animal. That's a lie) or Beckham or that mountaineer. This is where ITV News is failing as their online news content is also pretty poor. They need something like BBC News online, where people can choose more of the news they want to see. Tonight was fairly poor. IMO. Anyway, I'll stop now...

Yes, the duty London Tonight late reader (usually) goes on to present the Morning News.
And they usually present the GMTV Bulletins in London as well I think
