Does anyone know what time they plan to have the 1 hour lunchtime news? Will it go between 12-1 or 12.30-1.30?

12.30 to 1.30. Regional news at 1.15.

Is that a guess or do you know that?

It's definitely going to start at 12.30 and run for an hour. The regional component will be 13 minutes long, but I'm not 100% about the 1.15 timing.

Is it true they are also getting rid of the 3pm regional bulletin? If so what will they show between 1.30-.3.15?

yes and nobody really knows, unless they are going to have 45 minute makeover!

It will be a bit odd not having a regional bulletin at all between lunchtime and 6pm, the mid afternoon bulletin has been there as long as I can remember.

I guess one of the afternoon programmes will have to be a 45 minute show.

Most likely CiTV will be brought forward to start at 3.05pm or 3.10pm, by the time you include ad breaks (depending on exactly when the news will finish) it'll easily eat up the space.

I like how people are asking if it will start at 12, aren't Channel 4 and five's News at Noon programmes enough without a third of the 5 terrestrial channel joining in.

The Travel Updates seem to have lost their sponsorship.

It sounds like the music they used in the ITV News relaunch promo is now being used on a promo for an ITV drama, I think its Baby Wars or something. If its not the same piece of music, then it must be something similar. Er... just thought I'd pop my head in and mention that, slap me if it already has. Confused

Someone's not awake on the ITV News Channel, London Weather went out in full, i.e. the Topps Tiles sponsorship was shown in full, no Breakfiller or anything.

I notice the 10.30 has reverted back to using the old, usual, boring close. I was beginning to like the new, more imaginative closes.

The music was created by Music4, it's just general promotion music. The music used in the short LWT tribute on the last night before the Celebrities started was also used a few months later on a Saturday Night menu.

It depends on who's operating the jib on the night.

I see Ben Scotchbrook is on the late London bulletin - has he presented on the News Channel at all this evening?

Ooh - Mary Nightingale has been announcing the shortlist of the ITV London Restaurant Awards today - presumably she'll be back at work soon ...
