Thats either a Barclycard or a Halifax card! I cant tell which one as its not that good a pic, but its definatly not anything to do with ITV! The big yellow square is the chip found on new chip and pin cards

All I can see is one yellow square, which doesnt at all remind me of ITV News.

I think you'll find it's a Barclaycard Visa - and the "yellow square" you can see is the chip on all credit and debit cards now.

Is this IRAQ WATCH graphic, animation and music really necessary?
It doesn't serve ANY purpose apart from cheapen the ITV News Channel - it's pathetic!!!!

I like it. They've been using that for months. News 24 has a sting which is not dissimilar.

Is it just me or is The ITV News channel seem to be going to a recorded earlier feed alot more and when they were going to the feed before they had the correct time and date. I have seen it more tonight/this morning, the recorded earlier graphic is also in the wrong place and don't forget it is not even edited!!

I may be wrong, but I think we see the 'Recorded earlier' graphic when NTL are playing out timeshifted output on the channel. When the News Channel gallery is in control, we see the normal date and time strap.

Owen Thomas has been hilarious this afternoon. When the third report in a row didn't show up he just looked at the camera and said "Computer says no." Very little britain! Then they cut to a break.

I notice the Late News yesterday was written as 10:50 - News; Local News; Weather in What's On TV. I missed the bulletin but isn't it usual that the late weekend bulletin doesn't have a Regional News bulletin? Today is listed as 10:30 - News; Local News; Weather ...

I don't know why we get it, I suppose it is cheap, but if we did ever get Sky, it doesn't list many of the Family Pack Channels, but it does have Sky Sports 1 - 3 + Xtra & Movies 1 - 9, Cinema 1 & 2 and FilmFour!
