Yes I have noticed, but Sky's still seems to be lower, oh well I'll get my glasses changed!
No you are right Sky's is quite a bit lower. If your watching on Sky press select so the now and next box (or what ever its called) comes up and you can compare the height using that as a reference.

The ticker is actually at the same height as the Sky News Ticker, except it is a thin strip, whereas Sky News have there ticker comming from the bottom of the screen. If you notice there is alot of blue underneath the ticker.

I'm still not sure on the redness. It doesn't fit at all. As I said I wouldn't mind it for breaking news or something, but against the blue and yellow it seems a strange move.

Very surprised (but delighted) to see Alastair Stuart [resent the ITV News Channel present at 7pm even though its a special on GW Bush but nice to see anyway. Nice background on the wall aswell with the US flag floating.
If you look to the bottow left hand of the screen, where the clock and date is, you can just see the old see-through bluebefore they put that ghastly red on (why red???).

He'll be doing another 7pm News Channel special next Thursday for the Iraqi elections.
I'd love to know how long his shifts are at ITN, he probably has to be there about an hour or two before Live with Alastair Stewart, that goes until lunchtime, then he has to do London Tonight at 6pm, which probably requires about an hour or two of rehearsals and then the ITV NC at 7pm.
