It still looks a bit shoddy though, they could do with getting them all in for a photo shoot, whilst they're at it create a presenters 2005 photo and then bring back old ITV News faces for an ITN/ITV 50 years.
Why is it that they don't put permanent News Channel presenters onto that page such as Chris, Leyla, Alistair, Andrew and Lucy?
The american news item has finished and the ticker is still red
Is it still on now? (I cant view as the channel isnt on freeview) Surely it cant be a permanent colour scheme - where else does red fit into the itv clour package, i thought everything was blue and yellow?

some of the reports and images on the newswall have today shown some red graphics, they might be changing it again
I do like the idea of having the ticker to change colours for the different types of news though.
I wouldn't mind a change in colour every now and then, perhaps have a read box above the clock for breaking news, and then set it really going by having the screen totally changing and the lights turning red, surely this would get peoples attention!
Why don't ITV News lower there graphics so that the clock and ticker are lower down? Sky News manages to get away with their ticker lower on the screen, surely it's less obtrusive this way, especially if everything else gets lowered.
The ticker is actually at the same height as the Sky News Ticker, except it is a thin strip, whereas Sky News have there ticker comming from the bottom of the screen. If you notice there is alot of blue underneath the ticker.

Yes I have noticed, but Sky's still seems to be lower, oh well I'll get my glasses changed!
