Very strange going ons, and I do like the new sports graphics, I wonder why they were only used on the 10:30, on the news channel it's been the usual green all day.

ITV1 bulletins have always had blue sports graphics whilst the News Channel uses green.

The News Channel's colour scheme for the various strands is based on the ITN News Channel's graphics.

The Desk looks awful with the light off!
is it broke or are they just not turning it on?

It does I agree. The back part of the desk looks worst, as it has a slight yellow tint. Why is the top of the desk appears rough, and the "once lit part "shiny?

Another NTL switching problem, perhaps?

This would be a problem with switching at ITN. There's only one line between ITN and NTL. The News Channel technical director is responsible for switching the output to NTL between the News Channel gallery and the National News gallery. I'm a bit puzzled as to why the London Today DOG is there though. Also it looks like it took over a minute to sort out.

Doh! The London News technical director has to switch the line to NTL between National News and London News for the regional headline and regional insert. That's why the London Today DOG's there.

Why are Leeds giving the Midlands so many problems?! Does any other regions (apart from central) have these problems from Leeds? Also didnt Leeds recentley have new kit installed or was that some other region?
