No , Friday's Late News is branded the ITV Weekend News. Remember before ITV plc, the late Friday bulletin used the ITV Weekend News titles. Probably because the weekend sort of starts on Friday Evenings...

Anyway, it doesn't particularily matter, Nina has hosted the 10.30 before (over Christmas), but I have noticed if Nick does the Evening News he usually does the 10.30 as well (not to mention the morning summaries and the Lunchtime News!)!

That started when News at Ten returned, because the Friday News remained at 11pm.

The light in the desk appears to be no working on the Evening News tonight, the bluey cyan colour isnt there, instead a very pale blueygrey.

And?

Btw, there was a trail for Live With Angela Rippon at the end of the 10.30 tonight.

Was just quoting something from TV Room which proves my point.

Perhaps they haven't got anything worth advertising coming up on the NC so they put on a Angela Rippon ad.

John Suchet, Nicholas Owen and Jon Snow are apparently going to be among the 'celebrity' newsreaders on Monday's UK Radio Aid broadcast.

Do you know if it will only be those three? I gather they will be newsreading. If known, when?

So the News Channel has been in the second studio for most of the day.

More obit rehearsals? Or something technical?

It was a power failure that took out the aircon and the toilets. Evil or Very Mad

The main studio's lights were kept off for most of the day to prevent the studio getting too hot for the ITV1 bulletins.

These figures seem to illustrate that the gap between ITV1 and BBC1 isnt as great as some people on this forum may want you to beleive! The gap is on average around half a million viewers. Whereas on the Wednesday listed above ITV1 actually gained more viewers than the equivalent BBC1 evening news bulletin.
