An Alastair Stewart v/o has now been added to the News Channel Blunkett promo - that was missing from the version aired this afternoon.

It just had the four square logo in place of the date and clock in the bottom left hand corner by the ticker.

Oh, makes more sense now. Some idiot was in the way so I couldn't see what was going on in that corner of the screen.

Agreed she looks great. But her skintight leather jacket screams I'm trying too hard to look sexy and is completely inappropriate for reading a serious national news bulletin. Compare this to the understated Mary Nightingale who always lets the news do the talking.

Mary Nightingale always sounds like she is going to cry, although I do think she is a good reader.

A better than average Lunchtime News from Nick today, and surprised he is back on next week "with Mondays Lunchtime News, do join him then!" Fantastic!

I guess they had to get her in on short notice? Nick said on the Lunchtime News 'I'll be back with Katie Derham for the Evening News tonight...'

Yeah, bit like Anna Ford on the 1 o'clock news a couple of weeks back. She is not on the 10.30 tonight, James Mates is covering it, more problems displaying images on the newswall, Helen Gallagher (pardon my spelling), was all smudged up. Good to see Nick on the Evening News too, I think he is very good, but he is more serious on the Evening. On the Lunchtime, he is more himself.

Can anyone tell me how is it possible that the background image is reflected on the top of the desk?
It's CSO, then how is it possible?
It's the most striking when a text is reflected, e.g. 'ITV MORNING NEWS' etc.
(Sorry if it's been asked already) Smile

Indeed. They should maybe have got whichever female was on the News Channel this afternoon to fill in.
