Did anyone notice who read the football results on yesterday's News and Sport?

I notice that as well as doing the overnight shift on ITV News last night Sian Jones was also doing Five Weather today.

Good grief - that's a bit of a come-down for Mr Nicolson - from presenting a daily national breakfast news programme to reading the classified football results on ITV1...

I really didn't see any point then for Shulie Ghosh and team to use the main studio for a bulletin that only lasted less then 5 minutes!

Couldn't they have used the CSO?

hi where did you find that tune on the website. i would like that tune but without the regional part to it for news in brief. can anyone make a tune like that or a tune which lasts for 60 seconds approx or edit the current tune.

where on the itv news is that tune. i really like the news in brief tune.

Does anyone know the reason for the variable length of the weekend bulletins?

Why can't they make the early and late evening weekend bulletins 15 minutes each, every week?

As it is we get these odd 5 minute summaries once or twice every six weeks or so, and a 10/15 minute late bulletin the rest of the time

Good grief, are you going for the world record for the most times the word "tune" has featured in a post ?

Is 7 times perhaps "tune" overkill ?

Indeed. ITV News don't seem to bother with sport on a general basis (this year's Olympics aside) any more. A strange decision not to give that particular duty to somebody like Alex Thomas for example.

Alex Thomas did do the classified sports results on the ITV News Channel, after the Weekend News, presented by ...... John Nicolson.
