Nothing wrong with that shot - a bit of a shock but quite pleasant to look at! They have used a wide shot, showing the end of the vr wall but never a full camera in view aswell!

Also noticed now on two-way interviews (not with correspondents) that they've got a blue and black CSO background with faint squares and a picture related to the story in the top left - faded in to the background.

Looks nice - and I suppose it beats the usual shot of either Westminster or the local newsroom that they'll be using the CSO for.

I'm liking all the new camera shots. And I hope we will have similar closing on the News at Ten Thirty tonight, as they had last night.

Since when have they said 'Live from London this is the ITV News Channel'!?!?

Owen didn't stick to the script on the autocue - he ad-libbed instead and incorporated his "great to have you with us" catchphrase as well as namechecking Leyla.

I wonder if anyone feels sorry for Leyla Daybelge. It sounds like she's got cold and I bet she's been trying to give it to Nicholas Owen, Owen Thomas and Steve Scott!!

what was the end of the lunchtime news like?. i also like the camera shots have you seen any more on the itv news channel

more of an ITV in general question, but the Evening News started at 6:25 and all programes were 5 minutes earlier then usual. Why??

Fantastic shots! Are these done on purpose? Anyone got any video of this?

It was so the Football could start earlier at 7.25pm and so ITV could still churn out a full edition of the ITV Evening News and Emmerdale, the 5 minutes were taken off the Regional News instead.

Doesn't seem to happen that often, the football tends to kick off at 7.45pm whilst coverage starts at 7.30pm, don't know why it was 7.25pm tonight.
