There are rehearsals for when a major royal dies.
Royal death on the way then - I recall that co-incidently in the weeks before the death of Diana and I think also either Princess Margaret / Queen Mother ITN had been rehearsing a similar scenario.
It must be a weird scenario - I wonder if any of these bulletins have ever accidently leaked on to air?

Strange problem with the tablet PC Lucy Alexander is holding for the summary at the newswall - maybe because of the angle she's holding it, it appears to be transparent, with the moving background being CSO'd onto it.
EDIT - during the next link she moved the tablet slightly and the effect disappeared, then moved again and it became transparent.
Was it picking up some green reflection from somewhere in the studio?

What do people think of Nina by the way. I only saw part of Monday's show and wouldn't choose her over Andrea Catherwood, Katie Derham or even Leyla Deyblege or Lucy Alexander from the News Channel. However, it's quite refreshing to see a new face in a high profile position.
And I thought Mary looked short next to Mark - Nina just looks ridiculous - can't they get her a box to stand on?
