Chris Rogers presenting 'Live with...' this morning, and - most unusually - Nicholas Owen with the 10am news summary.

Chris is still on now - he's supposed to be with Emma Walden apprently but aint seen her yet...

And the picture is really bad too...

I wonder if the news channel will have any of it's regulars this week...

Who has been on today so far...?

I've got a feeling they may want to keep Chris Rogers on at ITV news because since the announcement he has done a lot of the london news late shifts normally covered by itv regulars Joyce & Owen.

A challenge now would be to make a list of every presenter who has ever presented on the ITV News Channel.

The closure means we won't see the return of Phil Gayle after his year away!

Plus, I wonder if Lucy Owen will still do the news on Christmas Day. It was quite obvious she was trying to make a name for herself on national news, now there will be no room for her.

It's not a good time to be a newsreader, what with the ITV News Channel closing, plus the ITN Five News and LNN London Tonight teams recently being axed, there's dozens of presenters with no TV job available

I hope she does, IMO she is better than half the national team. Juliet Piper is standing in for Lucy tonight on Wales Tonight so perhaps she has already gone to the ITV News.

Where did Phil Gayle go then? And what's this about London Tonight teams being axed, is it goodbye to Tamsin Sylvester & other on air talents?

Phil apparently went to spend a year working in Australia.

Andrew is referring to the cull of presenters at the time London Tonight moved from LNN to ITN in early 2004.

Talking about who has been with the channel the longest, as well as Andrew Harvey and Leyla Daybelge, there's also Rachel McTavish who was there right at the start, plus Sasha Herriman has been a regular face since the very early days.

Doesn't Sasha apparantly sing, maybe she could give us a quick number on Friday!
