Yeah the on-screen and newswall graphics have been all over the place, since yesterday afternoon in fact. I don't think Scott Chisholm or Alastair Stewart had any newswall pictures or yellow headline/coming up astons at the times i was watching this afternoon.

Not sure if anything should be read into it, but I've just been watching the ITV NC and they seem to have dropped the yellow story graphic. The LIVE graphic has been changed too - it used to go all the way down to the clock, now it just floats mid-air.


They were using it as usual on the 2pm hour.

And the sting they use to go to a break has changed. The animated 'ITV News' has ended, and we get a stationary logo. Does this have anything to do with the dropping of the newschannel, because if it is the men in the gallery having a 'laugh' then do they think that many people will actually care about a logo changing, apart from people at TVF?

Noticed that to, no gallery shot. At first I thought it was just the virtual studio, but I saw it on "Drivetime" as well (in the real studio).

It doesn't take anymore people to put up the gallery shot and have the Breaking News For Britain fly in than to put up a still does it?

Or it could be a technical problem and the people who work on News Channel are doing their professional best. After all - they want to be considered employable don't they?
