As the later bulletin was out of primetime I guess.
Is this the first OB Mary has hosted. It's usually Mark, but I think I recall Katie Derham doing one in Hyde for something to do with Shipman.

Mary hosted the Evening News from Heathrow on the last concorde flight back in 2003. Nicholas Owen was in the studio.

ITV News Channel is to be closed down at the end of January, threatening 70 jobs.
The broadcaster will immediately enter into consultation with unions about the scale of redundancies. ITN said it would try to redeploy as many staff as possible. More follows...
