I noticed him presenting straight after their George Best coverage had ended. It was a bit of a shock at first. Not sure if he is suited to a news presenter position!

I like him, I remember him presenting a HTV News (Wales) bulletin in 2003.

Well, she didn't return till September so this is probably her first.

When News at 10.30 launched though Mark and Mary were named as presenters of the bulletin, though once John Suchet left it was Katie Derham who often filled in, with James Mates being the most regular fill-in host this year.


I think though Mary is the one who has really replaced Trevor McDonald - she never appears to work more than 3 days a week!!!!

He did an hour at noon. He's probabaly been taken off...I have to say, the news summary presnters at the weekned for Jon Nicolson tend to have logn working days.
